Vetrina, Italian for shop window
Websites for independent cafés.
We build them, fix the broken ones and keep them up to date, so the page people find when they search for you is one you own.
Send us a Google Maps link. That’s all we need.
What we see
Café websites go wrong in the same six ways.
None of these are design problems. All of them lose customers.
- 01
Your site says you’re closed.
Nobody filled in the opening hours, so it’s said that since the day it went live.
- 02
The domain expired.
The address on your cups leads nowhere. Sometimes it leads to somebody else’s page.
- 03
The menu is only on the chalkboard.
It’s the first thing people look for online and the one thing they can’t find.
- 04
Nobody can find the door.
Your reviews keep mentioning it. Your website doesn’t answer it.
- 05
The page isn’t yours.
A directory listing, or a page your supplier owns. You can’t change a word of it.
- 06
A security warning blocks the way.
The certificate expired, so the browser now tells people to turn back.
Work
Three cafés that don’t exist.
We’re a new studio, so instead of borrowing somebody else’s clients we made up three cafés and built all three sites properly. Nothing is shared between them.
Courtyard roaster · old quarter
Bramble & Vine
- Photography-led
- Built around a hidden entrance
- Menu and retail beans
Stand-up espresso bar · city centre
Banco Nove
- Answers in five seconds
- Hours and address above all
- Dense, fast, no images
Café-bakery · tourist quarter
Petit Radis
- Bilingual by design
- Made to be shared
- Allergens, hours, closures
Services
Build it, fix it, or keep it running.
Four ways to start, depending on what you’ve got.
- A new site
- For cafés with nothing online they control.
- A revamp
- For a site that’s dated, broken, or somebody else’s.
- Maintenance
- For any café that would rather not think about this again.
- Presence rescuesoon
- For a domain that lapsed, was taken, or now shows something that isn’t yours.
How we work
You’ll know what you’re getting before you agree to anything.
- 01
We look at your café first.
- 02
You see it before you commit.
- 03
You own everything.
- 04
We keep it current.
If a website won’t help you, we’ll say so.
Some cafés get nothing out of one. We’d rather tell you that in the first email than sell you a page that changes nothing. We’ve done it more than once.
